Be sure that your child brings sunscreen and wear tennis shoes. Also, a towel or extra change of clothes would be
helpful.
Awards Day
The final awards program will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd. If your child is receiving an award, you will be
contacted by the school. Please don’t share the news with your child as we would like to make it a surprise! 1 st and 2 nd
Grade will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the gym. 3 rd Grade will take place at 9 a.m.
Boys and Girls Club Closing for Summer
The Boys and Girls Club will be closed beginning, Monday, May 20 th and Wednesday, May 22, 2019. If you have a
student who attends the club, please be sure to send a note letting us know their transportation change.

Last Day of School
The last day of school is Wednesday, May 22nd. We have had a great year of school. We are honored and privileged to serve your children this year. Also, a huge THANKS to all the parent volunteers and our amazing PTO. Your countess hours of service have been greatly appreciated.
WOW Party for 3rd Grade
The 3rd grade WOW party will be Thursday, May 16th. We hope the students have a great time as they have definitely
earned it this year.

The 1st & 2nd Grade Wow party will be held Monday, May 20 th .
District Registration Dates
District Registration for the 2019-2020 school year will be at FSHS on July 29 th . Continue to check the district website for

Open House for 2019-2020 Simpson Elementary
SES open house will be Friday, August 9th. The times are as follows:
*1 st Grade @ 5:15-5:45 p.m.
*2 nd Grade @ 6:00-6:30 p.m.
*3 rd Grade @ 6:45-7:15 p.m.
PTO Celebration
The PTO would like to celebrate a wonderful school year by providing each student a Sno-ball from Pelican Sno-balls.
This will take place on Monday, May 20 th . Thank you PTO for the wonderful year!
