I am a FSHS graduate. I was born and raised here in Simpson County. I have been teaching for a total of 15 years with the last 4 of those years here at Franklin Simpson High School. I have taught in various levels in those 15 years. I have found that I truly enjoy the high school level students. It is great to watch them grow into the young adults that we send out in to the world after graduation.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in education at Western Kentucky University and my master’s degree from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. I am currently working on my doctorate degree in educational leadership at Western Kentucky University.

I am a Transition Facilitator for the Franklin-Simpson School District. I work collaboratively with parents, students, teachers, and outside agencies to develop positive plans which yield success in post high school settings for all students. This webpage will include links for various sources for parents, students, and teachers. If I can assist you in anyway, feel free to contact me at 270-586-3273 ext. 118 or stephanie.cornwell@simpson.kyschools.us.
