I have been a teacher at Franklin-Simpson High School since the 2008-2009 school year.  Before I began my career in education, I attended Western Kentucky University and graduated with Bachelors' of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology in 2006.  In 2009, I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master of Arts in Education and received my Kentucky teaching certificate.  During this time, I taught Chemistry labs at Western Kentucky University and worked as an Instructional Assistant for special education in the Bowling Green City School System.  In the summer of 2017, I started back to Western Kentucky University to earn a Master of Science in Chemistry.
While at FSHS, I have taught Integrated Science, Chemistry, Pre-AP Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Dual Credit Chemistry (CHEM105/6, CHEM 107/8) through Western Kentucky University.  In 2011, I became the department chair for the Science department.  I have been the buliding administrator for ACT since 2011.  I was Assistant Coach (12-13) and Head Coach of the Academic Team (13-17.)  I have also served on the SBDM council (11-13, 14-15).
