Hello, My name is Candy Stolt. I have taught at Franklin Elementary since 1988. I can't believe it has been 22 years!! Most of those years were spend teaching in the Simpson Co. Preschool and being" Ms. Candy". My passion was teaching the 3 and 4 year old children but the opportunity arose to move to Kindergarten Special Education so I decided I was ready for a change. I am now teaching in the Kindergarten resource room with Leslie Graves,Karen Stanley and Carol Bayles and loving it. By the way, I am still honored to still be called Ms. Candy.
My family moved to Franklin in 1985 from Mankato, Minnesota. We have enjoyed living here and raising our two children in a small town and in the Simpson Co. school system. I attend church at Franklin First United Methodist Church. It is a wonderful community of faith.
I love to read. My favorite author in Jeanette Oke. She writes Christian fiction novels. My husband and I enjoy skiing and biking together.
We became grandparents in June 2009 when we welcomed Julia Ellen King into the world. What a joy! She is now our favorite past time entertainment.
I really love teaching and am so glad to be at Franklin Elementary
