Hello Parents and Students!
I’m proud to say that I went to Lincoln Elementary School myself! I graduated from FSHS in 1994, and then went to WKU where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 1998. I went on to receive my Master’s Degree with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education and a Rank I in Administration.
I spent my first year teaching 3rd grade at St. Joseph’s School in Bowling Green. After that, I taught 3rd and 4th grades at Simpson Elementary School here in Franklin. When the 4th grade moved over to Lincoln in 2006 I came with them, and I’ve been here ever since! I have taught both 4th and 5th grades since coming to Lincoln. This makes my 16th year teaching. Most of my experience has been teaching science, but I’m truly excited for the opportunity to teach reading and language arts to your child this year.
When I'm not at school I live in Bowling Green with my Yorkshire Terrier, Sophie. Your kiddos will hear a lot about her this year! In my spare time I love to read, hang out with my friends, go to the lake, ball games (go Cats!), and concerts. I'm looking forward to a great year!
