Graduated from Franklin-Simpson High in 1989. Attended Western Kentucky University and received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 1993. Went back to WKU and earned my certification in Business & Marketing Education in 1999. Have also earned a Masters in Administration of Education in 2004 along with a Rank I with certifications in Curriculum and Director of Pupil Personnel in 2007.
My first teaching position was at the Learning Opportunity Center (LOPC) for three years (1999-2002). This is our school district’s alternative school. I transferred to the high school and have since been a business teacher in our school’s business department along with being one of our FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) club sponsors.
My coaching experience in our school system is the following: high school baseball assistant coach (1999-2000), middle school boys’ basketball coach (1999-2004), and high school girls’ assistant (2004-2008).
My family lives in White House, Tennessee. My wife is also a business teacher at White House High School. We have three children – Christa, Laura, and Elena.
