Language Homework and Practice

Play word games. There are many fun games such as: I spy, Name Something that starts with..., and many board games that use language.

Start a story-once person starts, then the next person repeats that sentence and adds another sentence to the story.
Describe objects and activities around the house.
Ask questions when you don't understand and want more information.
Read a book and then tell someone else about the story.
Write your own story. Use details and make sure it is in order.
Ask someone to play Name the Opposite, or Name the Synomym.
Word of the day: Look up a new word everyday, write it down and try to use it during the day.
