We are very fortunate to have a full time assistant, Mrs. Jamie, in our classroom. Our Title 1 person is Mrs. Nancy and she also serves as our reading interventionist. Mrs. Browning and Ms. Day currently serves as our math interventionists. We are thankful to have their help. Our philosophy is that learning should be fun and it is our hope that your children will establish a love for learning and for school.

Class Announcements
  • Accelerated Reader
    You may hear your child talk about taking an AR Test. This is where the students read a book 5 times then take a test on the computer. This will help your child's comprehension skills, increase reading fluency, and their sight word vocabulary.  Until your child can read independently, I will read books to them that they may take AR tests on the computer.
  • Pizza Hut Book It
    We will participate in The Pizza Hut Book It program beginning in October.  This program requires your child to read or have someone read to them 6 books.  All you have to do is record the books on the chart, sign and return it.  Then we will give your child a slip to receive a free Personal Pan Pizza!!!
  • Box Tops
    Our school is currently collecting the General Mills Box Tops for Education.  So please continue to clip those and send them in so that we can redeem them for $$$$. Check the calendar for the Box Tops due date.
