School Calendars Approved

Among items approved at the February Simpson County Board of Education meeting were an amended 2012-2013 school calendar (which basically added one school day to the end of the year, due to the missed snow day). As of Feb. 20th, the last day of school for students is May 16th, 2013. Of course this could change if there are additional school closings.

The 2013-2014 school calendar was also approved. Look for it to be posted on our school website in the next few days.
The first day of school is August 14th. Fall break is October 7th-11th. Christmas break is scheduled for Dec. 23rd-Jan. 3rd and spring break is March 31st-April 4th, 2014.
