2011 - FSHS Yearbook and journalism students placed in every category at the WKU Mark of Excellence Competition 2nd year in a row !!!

2009 - Sophomore David Sekora receives perfect score (36) on ACT!!


2010--Thirteen FSHS Students designated "AP Scholars"

2010--Lindsey Traughber wins 2nd in the Nation at HOSA Conf. in Orlando

2011--Matthew Clark wins 7th in the Nation at FBLA Conf. in Orland

2011- Alexis Savage named National Achievement Scholarship Semifinalist  for her PSAT scores

2011- Matthew Clark has been named a Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship Program

2011 - Roy Taylor was the 1st student with Down Syndrome to graduate 
            FSHS with a general education diploma
 

Shannon Janitch made first chair in the All-District band and 3rd chair in the All-State concert band 2010-2011

We had 16 events receive a distinguished rating at the 2011 KMEA Solo & Ensemble festival on Sat. March 5th!

Simpson-Lincoln Academic Team wins 1st Place win in the 2011 KAAC District Competition.  
Wish them luck as they prepare for regionals!

1st place winners:
* Destiny Travis in broadcasting
* Abby Yates in oratorical declamation
* Andrew Eaton and Dillion Huffine in improvisational duo.

2011 - FSHS Yearbook and Journalism won first place overall yearbook design at the WKU Mark of Excellence competition!
2011- Brooklyn Harris placed 3rd at the National FCCLA competition
July 2011 – FFA 1st place winners at State Competition were Kali Duncan, Taylor Pinson, Molly Fleming and Olivia Eaton
June 2011 – FSMS FFA Opening and Closing Ceremony team won 1st place at State competition (Lilly Robertson, Molly Fleming, Taylor Pinson, Olivia Eaton, Abby Eaton and Isaac Walters). 1st place in Public Speaking was Lilly Robertson. Highest Individual Quiz Bowl score in the state was Lilly Robertson.

April 2011 – FBLA State Competition 1st place winners were Johnathon Martin, Vishal Nathu and Terra Dodd.
March 2011 - Tayshaun Hassell is statewide champion in his age division of the KCNPNM Poster Contest.
       April 2010 – FSHS Welding Fabrication team won 1st place in state SKILLS competition
 
 
       March 2010 – Mariah Rowland overall Scholastic winner at KY Junior Miss

named Franklin-Simpson’s Chastity Gooch the Player of the Year for Region 4 in March 2011.

April 2011 - FSMS Student, Sophia Alford, won two 1st place blue ribbons at the Ky. Regional Special Olympics Swim Meet

Kaycie Bowen broke her own team record in the 100 backstroke event Nov. 19th, 2011 at the Middle TN. Swim Club Invitational
